POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Description of Duties:
- Liaise with InterChange’s Social Media Coordinator
- Work with members to implement InterChange’s Communications Plan and communicate the importance of community-based peacebuilding to a broader audience
- Build partnerships with community stakeholders
Skills and Experience (not mandatory but a strong asset):
- Degree (or studies in progress) in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications an asset
- Communications experience in a not-for-profit setting
- Ability to develop appropriate online content, liaise with the media, and share information with public
Total Hours Per Week: 3-5
Application Deadline: Rolling application
Location: Most of the work can be performed remotely. Some meetings in Toronto may be required. The volunteer will need to maintain regular contact with Social Media Coordinator.
