Invitation to Share Stories and Metaphors of InterChange Meetings and Community-Based Peacebuilding

Dec5.15InterChangeInterChange invites you to our December 5th Meeting:

Saturday, December 5th 2015, 10 am – 2pm (UTC/GMT – 5)

Peace Lounge, 7th Floor South, OISE
252 Bloor St. W, Toronto  (St. George subway station)

This will be an extended session, from 10am until 2pm, including pot-luck lunch and additional free light refreshments.

Many thanks for supporting InterChange as it has transitioned and explored new experiential activities. We would appreciate your joining us for an extended session, where we will be sharing stories about how we relate to InterChange activities, and desires for future growth.

Anne Goodman saw the importance of supporting community-based peacebuilding and the complexity of such grounded engagement. Questions of how this work can be supported are ever present, along with questions about where it intersects with other peacebuilding initiatives advocating for, and negotiating on behalf of communities.

We will be reflecting on our Saturday InterChange (IC) sessions. We have been seeking to run the Saturday Sessions in a way that develops and strengthens our practice, by:

  • setting out the scope for the session
  • running activities with experiential elements
  • providing feedback on what worked well, less well, and ideas for improvements
  • discussing possible applications within community-based peacebuilding.

Facilitated by Stephen Sillett
