This position is ideal for individuals interested in applying a creative angle to a non-profit environment or gaining more experience to support their media passion. \u00a0The position would entail attending events (held approximately once every one to two months) to take photos and\/or videos of social gatherings for website publication.\u00a0 This is a great opportunity for aspiring photographers and artists to build and add to their portfolio.<\/p>\n<p><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Description of Duties:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend local centre events such as yoga in the park, workshops, meetings, book club, etc. to take photos<\/li>\n<li>Upload photos to our internal community website (\u201cbasecamp\u201d)<\/li>\n<li>Edit photos or create shots for use on our website<\/li>\n<li>Create videos using footage or still images from InterChange events to create Youtube videos we can share<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills and Experience (not mandatory but a strong asset):<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creative arts, photography, or graphic design<\/li>\n<li>Photo and\/or video editing<\/li>\n<li>Digital imaging<\/li>\n<li>Interest in community peacebuilding and reconciliatio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Application Deadline: <\/b>Rolling application<\/p>\n<p><b>Total Hours Per Week:\u00a0<\/b>An average of one event per month for a period of 3 to 5 hours<\/p>\n<p><b>Location<\/b>: Toronto, ON (many events will take place at OISE, 252 Bloor St. W, however there may also be events at other locations around the city)<\/p>\n<p>Please submit application to <a href=\"mailto:volunteers@interchange4peace.org\">volunteers@interchange4peace.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Note: Since the events are not regularly scheduled, timings will be different for each (day and\/or evening) as well as the days of the week (weekdays and\/or weekends).\u00a0 The ideal candidate would have a flexible schedule with their other commitments so that they can attend our events.<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a volunteer position in the GTA, Canada.
