Becoming a member involves both agreeing with the InterChange <a href=\"?page_id=2\" target=\"_self\">Mission, Vision, and Principles<\/a> and working in accordance with them as you are involved with InterChange. Members must also understand and follow InterChange&#8217;s <a href=\"?page_id=68\" target=\"_self\">Membership Confidentiality Policy.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Privileges:<\/strong> By becoming a member of InterChange you will have the opportunity to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend InterChange symposia<\/li>\n<li>Attend and vote at the InterChange Annual General Meeting<\/li>\n<li>Gain access to contact information for other community-based peacebuilding academics, practitioners, and institutions involved in InterChange<\/li>\n<li>Gain access to online resources \u2013 publications, training materials, organizational documents (minutes, proposals, etc\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Participate in organizational research and project coordination<\/li>\n<li>Participate in joint action, education and research projects<\/li>\n<li>Learn about upcoming funding opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Receive discounts on training and education sessions<\/li>\n<li>Network with other peacebuilding practitioners and theorists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong> Members also take responsibility to contribute to the organization. You will be able to contribute in many ways including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Voting at an Annual General Meeting<\/li>\n<li>Helping organize Annual General Meeting or symposia<\/li>\n<li>Posting contact information and information about your peacebuilding activities or research<\/li>\n<li>Contributing content to InterChange newsletters<\/li>\n<li>Participating in organizational research and projects (eg. Coordination or contributing a recipe to the cookbook for instance)<\/li>\n<li>Determining joint action, research and education projects<\/li>\n<li>Participating in joint action, research and education projects<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with project planning and fund development<\/li>\n<li>Contributing information about upcoming funding opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Helping develop training and educational sessions<\/li>\n<li>Organizing events<\/li>\n<li>Posting information about upcoming events of interest<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating networking and\/or the development of opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Participating in local or international meetings or committees<\/li>\n<li>Paying a membership fee according to your ability to pay (Canadian members are likely to be asked for $5-20; eventually international members will be asked to pay an appropriate amount that their local centre determines).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To become a member fill in and return our <a href=\"http:\/\/interchange4peace.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/InterChange_MembershipApplication_2016.doc\">Membership Application_Form [.doc]<\/a> | <a href=\"http:\/\/interchange4peace.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/InterChange_MembershipApplication_2016.pdf\">[pdf]<\/a> or send an email to <a href=\"mailto:interchange@interchange4peace.org\">interchange@interchange4peace.org<\/a> that says:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I would like to be a member of InterChange.
